I am happy to see that some winter birds have already arrive to Tokyo parks. Daurian Redstart is one of the early arriving birds. I have seen them already in several locations. So far the females have been easier to approach but with time, I believe, when they get used to their new home parks both sexes will get over their shyness a bit. There will anyhow be some fighting over territories when more birds of various species arrive.
楽しみしていました冬鳥の一部はすでには東京の公園や庭園にやってきました。早い鳥の一つはジョウビタキです。何箇所かですでに確認できました。メスの方はオスより近づきやすいですが、新しい新居に慣れてきたら、両方は少し人馴れしてくるかなと思います。しばらくの間新しい個体や種類がやってきたら、あちこち縄張り争いは見れれると思います。
